Rhythmbridge was established in 1999 by Paul Dear along with it's sister organisation The Rhythmbridge Foundation. Rhythmbridge delivers African Drum Workshops, African Dance, Samba Drumming and Community Drum Circles to Schools, Companies and Community Groups all across the UK.
Paul has worked with Master Drummers from Senegal,Ghana and Guinea in West Africa,Morocco in North African and Bahia in Brazil. He is currently performing with Nomos playing Moroccon style Gnawa Trance Music and is a founder member of The Kajamor Family alongside Ibrahima Sens Sagna.This group was brought together to promote the traditional Serouba and Bougarabou music of Casamance, Senegal.
Paul is one of the first and most experienced Arthur Hull trained Drum Circle Facilitators in the UK and has developed his facilitation skills in a wide variety of settings including Educational, Corporate and Community.He now works as part of the management team that helps Arthur to deliver his renowned UK Playshop programme.
Paul is a charismatic workshop leader and delivers his sessions with warmth,humour and a high degree of professionalism.Since 1999 Rhythmbridge has delivered thousands of workshops to a wide diversity of communities and continues to be one of the most innovative drum companies around.
